ISTANBUL, Jan 2 (Reuters) - Turkish construction and energy company Enka ENKAI.IS won a deal together with U.S.-based Bechtel to build an 890 MW combined-cycle gas-fired power plant in northern Turkey, it said on Wednesday.
No financial details were immediately available.
The plant, owned by unlisted Borasco Elektrik Uretim, is due to come on line in 2010 in the Turkish province of Samsun.
Enka stock was down 1.0 percent at 1352 GMT, still outperforming a 1.5 percent fall on the main stock index .XU100. (Reporting by Ercan Ersoy; Editing by David Holmes) |
