The Claus M. Halle Institute for Global Learning at Emory University held a luncheon on October 17, 2006, where Soner Cagaptay gave a presentation celebrating the publication of "Islam, Secularism, and Nationalism in Modern Turkey: Who is  a Turk?". Soner Cagaptay is a Senior Fellow and the Director of the Washington Institute's Turkish Research Program.
